Properties of Radio Waves
Radio waves include the frequency of those radio waves along with the harmonics of the waves. The frequency of radio waves is generally between three kilohertz and three hundred gigahertz. These waves are considered to be usable radio waves. The period of a radio wave might also be considered to be a property of the wave. The period is the amount of time that a radio wave takes to complete a full cycle of its particular frequency.

German scientist Heinrich Hertz proved the existence of radio waves, which occur in nature. In 1895, a young Italian named GugliemoMarconi invented what he called “the wireless telegraph” while experimenting in his parents' attic.
